Some of the pictures are just parts of building I found interesting that we saw as we walked to the Plaza del Rei. The two views of the street below are what we see in both directions from our balcony at the hotel. It´s VERY noisy here!!! The girls were tired enough at midnight to drop right off to sleep. But I had to wear earplugs AND Dale´s wonderful noise-cancelling headphones in order to block out most of the sound. I woke up at five a.m. Sunday to hear people STILL shouting and chanting in the street. It was finally quiet at 8 a.m. when I woke up again.
The tall monument is a statue of Christopher Columbus.
