Friday

Today the four of us went snuba diving. This is where you use a mouthpiece like you would for diving, but instead of wearing a tank, you have a twenty-foot tube attached to your tank, which is floating on a little raft above you.

Although the water was a bit rough at the surface, it was fine down below. Our guide found interesting sea critters to show us, and we each held them as he filmed us with an underwater video camera. We also fed the fish handfuls of bread. That would have been more fun if their beak-like mouths didn't feel so much like they were chomping us! They'll drop the dvd by at our condo tomorrow.

We met our friends for pizza at a place we all love, and then we headed back to their resort to relax at the pool for the afternoon. We had dinner there, and then met the other family from Seattle who flew in at 7:30. We're only five minutes from the airport, so we met their plane. The kids were all so excited to see their other Seattle Homeschool Group friends. The family, the Ms, have two kids who are also about Alaina and Claire's ages. They all can't wait to swim together tomorrow. It was 10:30 Seattle time, so they headed for their hotel.

The Ds invited us to join them for breakfast on Saturday, so we'll head out around 8:45 tomorrow. They've also invited all the kids to have a sleepover at their timeshare tomorrow night. We rented the movie Hoodwinked for the kids to watch tomorrow evening while we six adults go out to a nice dinner. That'll be fun!

Then we'll have just one more day to enjoy the sun before heading back to Seattle's typical fall weather on Monday.

The girls don't ever want to go home!
